All Days

I’ve been searching for something in nothing,

twirling and twisting i float through the air

Scratching and biting all shows for something,

Why should we care?

Finally sunshine creeps past the hillsides

everything’s on purpose except when its not!

Grab ahold of what’s deep inside you,

Breathe….. Take your shot

Hiding and seeking might as well be a virtue

The more we keep searching the more we are found

Sometimes good things come from beyond you

to make a big sound

Hold on tight to the mossy green boulders

Scramble on upwards and live with your life!

So rattle some cages and ruffle some feathers

And dance with delight

All days seem to fade away

Always we run or we overstay

All day we give and we take away

Always we have nothing much left to say

Finding yourself is not without conflict

Trudging through muck can get pretty thick

Wade above waters that feel like an ocean

Breathe… don’t think quick
